We are aware of the significance IT has in the educational field today, and the importance of keeping up-to-date with new initiatives and maintaining existing systems to ensure Pupils have the best opportunities for their education as possible.
The IT Men Ltd are CRB Checked for your peace of mind, Partners for Steljes (suppliers of Interactive Whiteboards), RM Qualified and are working towards the BECTA National Framework.
Although we are aware that many schools have a designated ICT Co-ordinator, they are foremost a Teacher! This means that they may have limited time to fix IT problems.
That is why we do it for them!
We can supply an IT support package for the curriculum system, which offers a set number of visits per year during term time, leaving some visits available for “emergencies”. Usually we visit one day a month or two half days each fortnight, but can be flexible to your needs.
All of the services which we provide to schools are tailored to their specific needs. We are able to supply, configure and install Interactive Whiteboards, PC’s, Laptops, Printers, Faxes, Scanners, Firewalls, Routers, Switches, Hubs and Wireless Equipment. There are many types of software that we can supply but we would also be able to install any School software too. We can network PC’s and Laptops so that each user can share the same information, or that certain users can have access to certain data. We also offer Remote Access, allowing Teachers to work from another location and be “linked” into your system back at your school.

If you currently do NOT have IT Support, or are thinking about switching to another provider, then call us and we will come and see you to discuss your needs. This is free of charge, lasting approximatly an hour, so please have all of your questions ready before the meeting. It would also be beneficial for the Head Teacher and ICT Co-odinator to be present.
